Inflation? Recession? You may boo and hiss about the current state of affairs, but Taylor Swift‘s kitty is sitting pretty. 

A recent report by All About Cats ranked Taylor Swift’s feline friend, Olivia Benson, as the world’s third richest kitty. The cat has a net worth that’s more than most of us make in our lifetimes—$97 million.

That’s what happens when you call one of the world’s most successful pop stars “mom.” Swift, who told Time in 2019 that her felines inspired her to take a role in Cats, calls her pets her top influence. 

“I have cats. I’m obsessed with them. I love my cats so much that when a role came up in a movie called Cats, I just thought, like, I gotta do this,” she said. “Like, this is my calling in life to do this—for the ladies.”

Swift named her cat after Olivia Benson, the detective-turned-Sargeant played by the incomparable Mariska Hargitay on Law & Order: SVU. Hargitay appeared in Swift’s music video for “Bad Blood.”
