Kloud9 Barkery offers healthy dog treat options: Short Takes on Avon, Avon Lake and North Ridgeville

Avon, Ohio – Avon residents and mother-in law/daughter-in-law duo, Jennifer and Krystin Cornaro are the founders of Kloud9 Barkery. The pair started their business journey out of a love of dogs and frustration with the options for healthy dog treats on the market.

Kloud9 Barkery dog treats Avon

Kloud9 Barkery dog treats, made by Jennifer and Krystin Cornaro, are now available for sale at Pinspiration Avon, 34970 Detroit Road.

“We each have a rescue, I have a Newfoundland and Krystin has a Bernedoodle, that have difficult dietary issues, which is what caused us to start this business,” said Jennifer. “We both live in Avon, have kids in the Avon school system, and I even started the “I Love Avon Ohio” Facebook group because I love it here so much. We just really want people to be able to give their dog anything on our menu without worrying about having to read the labels. We have yet to meet a single dog (even the pickiest eater) that doesn’t like our products”

Jennifer’s dog, Lola, suffers from a protein allergy and also needs a low-fat, chicken-free diet. Krystin’s dog, Rosie, was diagnosed with Protein Losing Enteropathy due to underlying Lymphangectasia (intestinal disease).

According to the owners, big box stores, and even some small dog bakeries, market their treats to look good, but dogs are not designed to eat human foods. Sugars and preservatives, commonly found in popular dog treats, are not good for their health. Everything offered from Kloud9 Barkery is vegetarian and has no added sugar, no added salt, and no preservatives. The owners make everything by hand to ensure that the products contain only the highest quality ingredients.

Kloud9 Barkery is primarily an online business as the owners are currently working out of their homes, but they recently began offering items for sale in the new retail section at Pinspiration Avon, 34970 Detroit Road. Customers can find a selection of biscuits, and dehydrated fruits and veggies.

Kloud9 Barkery offers a variety of dog treats online including BARKery Treats (mini PUPcakes, mini RUFFins, tRUFFles, ultiMUTT oat biscuits, and soft CHEWs), FURiffic Fruits and Veggies (Dried Carrot, Dried Sweet Potato, and Dried Apple.) If your dog is celebrating a birthday, you can also order a custom birthday cake.
